About the 2010 Central Bank Macroeconomic Modeling Workshop


The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas hosted the 2010 Central Bank Macroeconomic Modeling Workshop on 19-20 October 2010 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Manila Peninsula Hotel, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

This two-day Workshop aimed to foster and discuss new developments in macroeconomic modeling at central banks and other policymaking institutions. The theme for this 2010 Workshop was "DSGE Models for Emerging Market Economies". As in previous Workshops, we brought together central bank researchers and model builders as well as academic researchers from around the world to present papers and discuss work on modeling at their institutions.

Other information: Further information about the Workshop are posted on the BSP website at http://www.bsp.gov.ph. The BSP covered all Workshop costs and as usual, there was no participation fee. As in previous Workshops, travel, accommodation, meals and other related costs were borne by the participant.
