FCDU Deposit Liabilities Dropped Further to $16.9 Billion

10.05.2006

FCDU deposit liabilities dropped for the second week and settled at $16.9 billion on 8 September 2006, posting a decline of $0.3 billion or 1.8 percent from the previous week’s level of $17.2 billion on 31 August 2006. However, this level is higher by $1.8 billion (11.9 percent) than the  year ago level on 9 September 2005.

The week-on-week decline in the level of FCDU deposit liabilities is mainly due to the termination of various time deposit accounts.
