Ty who received the award for Outstanding Commercial Bank for Overseas Filipinos-Related Initiatives; Philippine National Bank President Omar Byron Mier for Best Commercial Bank Respondent on OF Remittances; Director for Finance and Accounting Ma. Socorro Silva of Fujitsu Computer Products Corporation for Best Respondent and Hall of Fame Award, Cross Border Transactions Survey; Bank of the Philippine Islands President Aurelio R. Montinola III for Top Commercial Bank on Overseas Filipino Remittances; Allied Banking Corporation President Atty. Reynaldo Maclang for Best Respondent, Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey. Now on its fourth year, awards are given to the best respondents to the following: 1) Business Expectations Survey; 2) Cross Border Transactions Survey; 3) Foreign Direct Investment Survey; 4) Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey; 5) Commercial banks that facilitate the reporting and inflow of overseas Filipinos’ (OFs) remittances; 6) Exporters that generate significant foreign exchange; and 7) Institutional partners that provide information support for BSP’s analysis on monetary developments and policies.
