Strengthening the Foundation for Effective Governance

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Amando M. Tetangco, Jr. (third from right) recently inducted the new officers of the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL), which is now headed by BSP Assistant Governor Ma. Dolores B. Yuvienco (third from left). In his speech, Governor Tetangco lauded BAIPHIL for its steadfast support of BSP’s reform initiatives by providing productivity enhancement assistance to its member banks through research, information exchange and education. He also reiterated his call for banks to be responsive to the changing global environment.
