Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Deputy Governor Alberto V. Reyes (right) receives the ISO 9001:2000 Certificate awarded to BSP’s Supervision and Examination Sector for implementing a Quality Management System for the provision of licensing services for banks and non-banks with quasi-banking functions. The ISO certification, awarded after thorough audit, signifies that BSP passed internationally recognized quality management system requirements developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The Standards enhance and provide an ideal framework and philosophy for building world-class quality organizations. The award was presented by executives of certifying body TUV Philippines: Reyland Nepomuceno, business development manager and Jocelyn de los Reyes, managing director and general manager. BSP Deputy Governor Reyes retires this week after 41 years of service at the Bangko Sentral.
