Private Schools under COCOPEA support BSPís Financial Education Program

Bangko Sentral Deputy Governor Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr. (third from left) turns over Teaching Guides on Financial Education to COCOPEA Chairman, Monsignor Gerardo O. Santos, Ed. D. (fourth from left) after signing a memorandum of agreement to integrate lessons on saving and money management in the private elementary school curriculum covering over one million students. The Teaching Guides, developed in partnership with the Department of Education, are now being taught in public elementary schools which have 12 million students.
