1/ Sources of basic data:  IOS Form 4  reports of  banks   (Consolidated Report on Loans granted by FCDUs/EFCDUs) and Consolidated Statement of Condition of banks (up to 2007) and the Balance Sheet of banks under the Financial Reporting Package (starting  March 2008)  
2/ The procedure for computing the  loans-to-deposits ratio  was amended under   BSP Circular No. 613 dated 18 June 2008 (which became effective 14 July 2008) from the lagged basis which relates  the   current quarter's outstanding loans to the level of deposits  two quarters back  (based on BSP Circular No. 278 dated 29 March 2001), to the use of the same report cut-off date for both loans and deposits
