1 Population projection benchmark for household population 15 years and over are used to estimate the levels (absolute number of Labor Force, Employed, Underemployed, Unemployed in the Labor Force Survey series)
were based on the National Statistics Office (NSO) 1995-based census of population.  Starting with January 2007 LFS round, the population projection based on the 2000 Census of Population was adopted to generate
the labor force statistics per NSCB Resolution No. 1 series of 2005.  For 2006 data, recalculation of employment indicators were done using the population projection based on the 2000 Census of Population.
2 Source of data for both nominal and real wage rates is from the National Wages and Productivity Commission. Average/total for annual is as of December starting 2006.

4 Starting November 10, 1990 adjustments in the minimum legislated wage rates are being determined by the Regional Tripartite Wages Productiviity Board. Real wages at 2000 prices per data from the National Wages
& Productivity Commission. All data for real wage rates do not include highest and lowest ranges for non-agricultural, for regions outside NCR and agricultural, plantation and non-plantation.
a Cannot be computed due to the adoption of the revised unemployment definition.  However , based on the old definition of unemployment, labor force participation, employment and unemployment rates stood at 65.1, 88.6
and 11.4 , respectively. Starting April 2005, the new unemployment definiton was adopted as per NSCB Resolution No. dated October 20, 2004.  The definition of unemployed includes the availability criterion.  Previously,
only with jobs and looking for work were considered unemployed.  Hence, data for labor force, labor force partipation rate, employment rate, unemployed and unemployment rate are not comparable with previous survey rounds.
c Includes  3,596 deportees from Malaysia based on the report of the POEA Zamboanga and 611 workers with Special Exit Clearances issued by Employment Regulation Branch of POEA
