The formidable Filipino spirit is revealed through our resilience amid challenging times. For the Museums and Galleries Month (MGM) 2022, the Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas features the exhibition Hiraya: Foregrounding Filipino Resilience. Hiraya brings together ten artworks from the Museo’s collection highlighting messages of hope and recovery.

Hiraya is in line with both MGM 2022's theme Embracing Uncertainty: Showcasing Solidarity, Hope and Recovery and the BSP's 29th anniversary theme Building the Nation's Road to Recovery.

As the Museo prepares for the opening of new physical exhibition spaces in 2024, it is employing new platforms that allow it to continue sharing its collection with the public. Hiraya may be viewed through large-scale image projection on the BSP’s Digiwall along Roxas Boulevard (facing the Cultural Center of the Philippines), and on the Security Plant Complex Façade along East Avenue, Quezon City from 11 to 30 October 2022, 6 PM-8 PM, and through this virtual exhibit.
